Yes, I do enjoy Nina Simone, and felt that the song fit with what I'm trying to do here. You'll find that I will flit from idea to idea often, and my interests are vast, so hopefully those who read this blog will enjoy all that I hope to offer.
Currently my life is changing, and I am excited about it! One of the changes in my life is that I am trying to get myself to make more things from scratch, rather than purchase ready-made foods. The other big hope I have is that I'll get more involved in my many interest, such as helping people in many aspects, spending time with my family, learning at least one new thing a day, and working on crafting projects.
I will be trying to find recipes, crafts, and ideas that are inexpensive and relatively easy to do. All in hopes that others will find them interesting, useful, and hopefully helpful.
Since I do alot of research online for what I want to do, make or try, there will be links to other websites to show where I got my info. There are some websites that I really enjoy, and frequent often, so one day a week I will be highlighting one of these websites to tell you why I like it, and all that these bloggers have to offer you!
This post is just to give you an idea of what I am about, but my next post will focus on one thing, and hopefully is informative, while showing you how easy it is to succeed at doing it for yourself! :)
